The white rice having similar nutritional content on the packaging is a result of it being artificially added back in, whereas in brown rice it is naturally occurring. In addition, there are several other vitamins and nutritional benefits that aren't listed on packaging but make brown rice a healthier food choice. It took us a while to get used to the longer cooking time and the stronger taste, but after a few years we really prefer the taste and texture of brown rice.

http://diabetes.webmd.com/news/20100614/brown-rice-vs-white-rice-which-is-better

http://www.greenlivingtips.com/articles/94/1/Brown-rice-vs-white-rice.htmlLarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09051780765300427426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977063553030084396.post-78169696926741309142011-04-28T20:52:40.702-04:002011-04-28T20:52:40.702-04:00oooooh, i love this! so fresh bright!oooooh, i love this! so fresh bright!teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03354761431432717178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977063553030084396.post-91829618484465755712011-04-28T18:00:29.433-04:002011-04-28T18:00:29.433-04:00curious why you switched to brown rice.
