I didn't have enough filling to use up all the dough - so I rolled what was left into cinnamon buns and those were great too!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977063553030084396.post-86126257920932454632011-03-21T14:31:29.684-04:002011-03-21T14:31:29.684-04:00Thanks Lara! My suggestion would be to only use the 6 cups of flour and then use a bunch of flour when you roll out the dough. I think that a softer dough makes for a better tasting crescent. You'll have to let me know if you try it again.Larahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09051780765300427426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977063553030084396.post-25000990214914621112011-03-14T19:39:16.918-04:002011-03-14T19:39:16.918-04:00I finally had some time to make this tonight! I think near the end, I ended up with almost 8 cups of flour... they still turned out but were doughy. Do you think the vegetable oil is why the dough was still wet after 6 cups of flour?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977063553030084396.post-34589120815026029082011-03-07T14:16:24.147-05:002011-03-07T14:16:24.147-05:00I have been making these for years, and everyone j...I have been making these for years, and everyone just loves them! M...I tried this for Sunday dinner and we loved it! My mom used to make this with the crescent rolls but I never did because they were too expensive and unhealthy. Your dough recipe worked perfectly, and I even used all whole wheat flour (with a couple spoonfuls of wheat gluten). My family has requested that I make these again soon. Thanks!Mirienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15647673075041766944noreply@blogger.com
