Man oh man that brings me back to my childhood. I love coffe cake even thought I don't drink coffee. I am printing this off and making it. I also wanted to let you know that I made your Whole wheat bread recipe and it was a sucess. it was amazing as toast. I used wheat germ instead of the sunflower seeds because I didn't have any and it was still wonderful. Thank you for the recipe.

I make apple bread all the time for my family and friends. The recipe is posted on my site. This is something different. It looks simply delicious. Can't wait to try it out!

Love the picture with all those apples lined up. I could almost convince myself that this is healthy;D I went to make your sunflower seed bread the other day and realized that I didn't have enough yeast. I'm going to see about reducing the recipe to make just one loaf.

Hi

How can I reduce this recipe to make it fit into a 9x13 inch cake pan.

Julie March 7, 2010 at 3:49 PM

It's absolutely gorgeous! I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Bookmarked!!! This looks FABULOUS!!!

Jackie,
You definitely could make this in a 9x13-inch pan. You wouldn't need quite as many apples and you'd need to increase the baking time slightly. I'd guess 3-5 minutes or so. I'll try it out in the smaller pan next time I make it and let you know.
