Pie Filling:
The ingredients:
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
1-1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Beat eggs slightly. Blend in sugar, flour, butter and vanilla. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
Pour into prepared unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes or until slightly golden and firm on top. Cool and serve at room temperature.
And of course, serve with ice cream or whipped cream on top!

This pie looks like something that my family would love! I've never made a pecan pie. I think it's time that I did!
