I hope I can make your list (and your sidebar) someday! :-) Looks like a wonderful choice of foods, many of them I follow as well!

Best wishes,
Mandy

I think Friday Finds is such a great idea because it allows you to keep a list of the recipes you want to try. Plus, I'm so excited that I made your list! Now I'm getting ready to check out all the other links....

Those taquitos have been on my "to try" list for weeks, and I just made them last week for my son's birthday party. I tripled the recipe and made some with flour and some with corn tortillas. They were delicious both ways, and were a huge hit with 13-year-old boys, as well as the rest of the family. I had several left over and I put them in the freezer. They are so easy to heat up for a quick lunch or snack. So, what I'm trying to say is that I bet your family will love these, too. Make them soon!

And thanks for the link to the Olympic Cookies--I'll definitely try those soon. Love whole wheat and oats in my cookies!

About This Blog

My name is Lara and while I'm definitely not a gourmet cook, I do love preparing tasty, healthy meals for my family. Finding new recipes to try and sharing the ones we've already fallen in love with is a passion I've had since college and the reason why I've started this blog! With five kids, I'm usually in a hurry, so you'll find most of these recipes kid friendly and simple to make.
